Comments: DJ Steadman did an excellent job. He was very well dressed and arrived in more than enough time to set-up and be prepared. He pronounced all the names correctly and spoke clearly and well-mannered. He was a DJ at our wedding reception for about 4 hours and played all the music that I had requested, as well as taking requests from the guests. He did not play the songs I asked him not to and if there was a questionable one he asked my permission before it was played. He did an excellent job with the timeline and kept to crowd on their feet the entire time. Thank you Steadman for everything and I will highly recommend you to others looking for a DJ.

DJ Richard Barker is as professional, fun and friendly as they come. His set up was fantastic. I had so many guests come to me throughout the night and tell me how much fun he was. I also had a few guests ask me for his info at the end of the night to hire them for their own future events. He was well worth every penny we spent on his perfomance!

The DJ was great. He was able to keep people on the dance floor the entire night. It was 11:00 and the majority of people were still at the reception. We had to start kicking people out, to get them to leave. The DJ played all of our requests, and was extremely professional. I would definately recomment him to anyone. Thank you so much.

We chose Academy DJs for our corporate Christmas party - the general feedback was 'best party we ever had!" The music selected was excellent, the volume didn't overwhelm dinner conversations while we were eating and the dance music was just right to get lots of people on the dance floor. The professional dancers hired through Academy DJs were wonderful and really helped break the ice and motivated many people to dance and have a good time. The DJ was completely set up before the guests began to arrive and was very organized and efficient. I highly recommend Academy DJs.

Brian McDonald did a wonderful job as DJ at our Wedding Reception on
November 7. I realized that evening that I was unprepared to give Brian the
tip that he deserved.

We could not have been more pleased with your DJ service. We had a fantastic
evening and so many of my family and friends have commented on how much they
enjoyed the music. Brian did a great job reading the mood of the room and
improvising on the song list to keep the dance floor full. The sound during
the ceremony itself was excellent and Brian coordinated the tracks with the
parent and Bridal party entrances perfectly, with very minimal instruction
from us.

Comments: As a bride on a budget, my fiance and I toyed with the idea of an iPod wedding. After visiting your website about a zillion times, I decided to spend the extra money and hire a DJ to take care of the reception. I believe that having Steadman present at the reception made the whole day a complete success. From beginning to end, he was prompt and courteous in answering all of my questions. When I arrived a the reception location, Steadman came out to meet me and my fiance before our grand entrance to make sure things went as we wanted them to. All through the reception, Steadman was very attentive to the crowd, the atmosphere and my fiance and I. All of the songs played were what we requested and his interaction with the crowd was the perfect amount. At one point I even felt as if Steadman was someone the family had known for a while as he called beckoned my father for the toast. He called my father Papa Don which is something my friends called my father when we were in high school and college! Steadman went above and beyond what I had expected from a DJ. HE WAS AWESOME! He even allowed a family member, Nancy, whom I haven\t seen for many years, get up and sing a song to my fiance and I. My wedding day would not have been the same without him.
